I don’t eat chippy very often as most are terrible these days. Called here today and just had to leave a review. Best chippy Iv had in a long time. The chips were cooked just right and the fish was cooked fresh when I ordered. The owner was apologetic that I had to wait 6 minutes. Not long at all for a fresh cooked fish. Fish was massive! Perfect amount of salt and vinegar. The gravy and curry were all spot on too. The lady that served me was very polite and service came with a smile. Lots of chippys are very expensive but this place was very reasonably priced. They don’t accept card payments but as there is a cash machine virtually outside, it wasn’t a problem. Travelled over from Todmorden and can’t see me going anywhere else for fish and chips in future. All round good experience. Many thanks.

For the longest time, we looked for a decent chippy, then we tried Chippy Licious and we never looked back. The food is amazing and they really put themselves out to help. Coming from the Sarf originally, I love rock eel, which isn't usually served up here. I asked Bran, and he got it, saveloys too!! Give em a try, you won't be disappointed. 👍🏽
